My princess and I love going for hikes on Saturday and Sunday mornings.  Its something that we do pretty regularly.  We both just love getting out into nature and hearing the sounds of the forest.  We're both avid runners, so this is just something we enjoy to do that's more easy going.  One of the main things to making a hike even more enjoyable is a good set of boots.   One of the characteristics of a good set of hiking boots besides being comfortable is being water proof.   My princess hadn't had a new pair of hiking boots in a while.  But just the other day she ordered some and she tried them out this morning on our hike.  And man did she love them!

I was preparing to do a 28 mile hike in one day and knew I had to have the best of the best. I researched many boots and this boot had everything I wanted wrapped into one boot. Waterproof, good ankle support, awesome traction, a tough toe and stylish to boot. I did about 15-16 miles over a weekend to test them out and they fit perfectly to my foot and lived up to every expectation I needed. I even got caught in a horrible rain storm and they stayed dry on the inside.

I spent a weekend backpacking with these boots, and my feet were happy. The shoes have a lot of traction, arch support, and they kept my feet warm and dry (but not too warm).

When we were looking we had a few things in mind.  We researched a good bit trying to find the best waterproof boots for women and we believe these are the best ones for the price.  We were thinking about hunting boots as well as hiking boots.  When searching for hunting boots for women the main thing is staying warm and dry.  My princess does go hunting sometimes.  She hasn't been in 2 years but this fall she's mentioned that she's wanting to go again.

By D. These are the best shoes I have ever had on my feet. I want to build a monument to them. They are soooo comfortable. THe bottom is almost rubbery so you will not slip and the shaft is warm. The crazy part is that their functionality does not detract from their gorgeousness. I die!!! Also, they are narrow ish and fit a fairly small calve so that was good for me. They run true to size.

La Canadienne Women's May Knee-High Boot

Just last night, we went out to one our favorite restaurants.  Fine wine, good food and expensive bill to foot.  But it was worth it!  My princess is always worth it.  She was the best dressed women there (and as always the sexiest), with her knee high leather boots.  It hasn't rained yet, so she hasn't had a chance to see how waterproof they are yet.  I can't wait to see her wearing those things in a thunderstorm!  Go see for yourself and read the other reviews for these boots.  All the ladies love them and their men love seeing their ladies in them.
